Braden Gellenthien Early Life
Braden was born in Boston, United States, on April 26, 1986. He was only ten years old when he started archery in 1996.
However, he made his international debut in 2002.
Braden Gellenthien achieved early success with the individual bronze medal at the age of 17. His team also won the gold medal at the 2003 World Championship.
Gellenthien represented the United States in the World Archery Championship and won the team title every time, including in 2005 (Madrid), 2007 (Leipzig), 2009 (Ulsan), and 2011 (Turin).
2007 was the best year of Braden Gellenthien’s career as he won the indoor world championship in Izmir. He made an excellent debut on his first appearance on the World Cup circuit and won the individual and team gold medals.
He also won the silver medal at the World Championships and the team gold medal, where he lost to Canadian archer Dietmar TRILLUS on a shoot-off.
In 2007, Gellenthien also qualified for his first World Cup final in Dubai, where he won the silver medal against the Salvadorian archer Jorge JIMENEZ.
